New Hope Cancer Foundation


Funds can start being raised now for the next calendar year. Last year we raised $30,000 and will be able to help over 70 people this year! It’s never too early to do a fundraiser!

What is the New Hope Cancer Foundation? A foundation started locally to help cancer patients residing in Dewey, Corson, Campbell and Walworth counties with funds to assist with their expenses. Currently, qualified applicants receive $425.

Who is eligible for these funds? Residents in Dewey, Corson, Campbell and Walworth counties.

How can I get assistance if I am currently battling cancer? Pick up an application at the Mobridge Tribune, KOLY, the Mobridge Regional Hospital or you can download one by clicking the Applications button above and mail it to P.O. Box 422, Mobridge with documentation required.

Who is the board of directors for the New Hope Cancer Foundation? The President – Heidi Roshau, Vice President – Dick Lillestol, Treasurer – DeEtta Gustafson, Secretary – Kristy Quenzer.

What is a New Hope team? A group of individuals or a business who do fundraisers to help raise money for the foundation. No minimum or maximum amount of members are required on a team and any amount of money raised will be added to the foundation. Teams will walk together if possible the day of the walk to represent the cause.

How do I start a team? Pick up a registration form and free advertising certificates at the Mobridge Tribune or KOLY. Also, you can download one by clicking the Applications button above.

Can I do individual fundraising and not be on a team to raise funds for New Hope? Absolutely! If you want to have a rummage sale, bake sale, or some other fundraiser, any amount of money raised will have an impact on our area.
